Yup, prob CV boot either split or clip busted.

I had both my clips on the cv boot snap on my 172 a couple of months apart , grease all over the alloys . Is this a common problem ?
I'm gonna put some cable ties over the clips on my 182 hopefully it will help to stop it happening .

ok will be the 1st thing i do then, should i seal it though to stop it going everywhere again?

right had a look at it today and it doesnt seem split, however the boot thing has come away and thats why its leaking, the metal jubile clip thing has come loose, i stuck a cable tie on it to keep it in place til tuesday
