Sony Bravia - Problems with HDMI

I've got a 28inch Sony Bravia TV with one HDMI port.

Sometimes when I'm using the xbox360 via the HDMI port, the screen will blank off and then come back on again (As if I have changed the channel and changed back).

I have tried and new, more expensive HDMI cable, but still getting problems.

Any Ideas?

My mates Sony LCD does it too.

Just goes black for a second, then the channel info comes back in the top left?

thinking about it, my dad had a sony lcd and when connected via scart to a pvr it used to do this, go black, but with my ps3 attached via hdmi it was fine.

Still think it could be the 360 though.

I think both my Pioneer and Sony do it with both 360 and ps3. With PS3 it is usually because ill be running it at 1080p on sony or 1080i on pioneer and some games only play in 720p so it auto changes it when you start the game and the tv tells you.

Point taken, but it happens randomly whilst playing a game.
