IMHO no Sony ICE product is any good, concentrate too much on gadgets and gizmos

no doubt there will be people for and against this product as there is every time someone posts a topic for a general view

only way to find out how good/bad it is is to go out and buy one

i have the MP30 model and not had any problems with it

I cant fault it, it does what its supposed to do.

Which one are renault currently supplyins on the 172 then. I have to admit to ordering one, looked the shiznit and always thought sony were an ok HU supplier.

Well alpine and phillips supply the oem units.

Alpine Aftermarket units are superb.

i had a sont for ages, just got an alpine and teh sound quality is loads better!

I have the MP40, its really good not had any problems with it, never skipped once .Got one from MCS for £125 plus £10 p+p

Well I got one got £110 as Im a bit short on cash and needed a quick fix!

I must admit im quite impressed at how much better it (obviously) sounds than the old Renault tape player through the oem speakers.

Itll do for now anyway! Defo getting another MP3 Head Unit - Its blummin fab having 223 Tracks on one Re-Writable!

MCS delivered really quick mate. Ordered online and it was delivered by Citylink a few days later. No probs.

Iv got an mp40 no problems at all, its sounds pukka wiv my install. (2x10" sony pentagons 900w amp and sony xplod 330 6x9s)
