Sony headunit and stalk adapter

  Mk3 Dynamique S
Hi, new to posting on the forums, i'm considering a sony headunit for my Clio Dynamique. I definately want to keep the stalk controls from the standard headunit, but i don't want to take the dash off to fit an adapter. Is the one from connects2 the only way to do that and do they only do it for sony? http://www.connects2.com/c2search.aspx?catID=12&manID=225&modID=510

Also still looking for headunits, only want to spend about £100 on one, not looking for anything amazing just something more powerful than the standard one. Is this a reasonable option remembering that i need an adapter but will not remove the dash?

Thanks for your help. :)

Hello,

I have a Pioneer DEH-6800mp.

It has been used for 2 weeks only and is an as new condition.

Really suits the clio dash and looks nice and OEM.

I am looking for 110 delivered.

Thanks

Sam

Definately both worth considering,

This is my first car and have only had it for 2 weeks, not even passed my test yet so installing all these things is completely new to me. Trying to make it as easy as possible.

The FAQ post suggests that removing the dash isn't necessary for the Connects2 adapter :S http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=87568&highlight=stalk+adapter+FAQ

and really i'm looking for instructions and a manufacturers warranty, is there an easy to install adapter for the pioneer available? and is the backlighting on it changable (the pictures i've seen are green backlights)?

Backlight can be blue on the Pioneer...

It is very aesthetically pleasing and the sound quality is brilliant!

You should have to remove the dash. You just have to take out your existing radio (which I will take in Part exchange if you want?)

Thanks

Sam
