Last year I bought a ph2 172 and rushed into it a little as I had crashed my last and was after another asap. Earlier this year I tried to part ex it for a new 197 cup, but when they HPI'd my car (which I failed to do, STUPID!) they came back and told me it had finance outstanding...I was gutted. About a month ago I sent the person who I bought it off a threatening letter, and today thought I would HPI the car to see if the finance has been cleared, which it has! I'm sooo chuffed! Just need to get a new job as I was made redundant last month and my 197 plans are back on track. And ALWAYS HPI if your buying a car privately....I learnt the hard way, don't become the next to (nearly) lose everything!
