Sorry another mpg ask

Hi all, I've just got my Clio 182 last week and lovein, but I'm only getting about 100/120 miles out of £30 of petrol. I'm not driving it hard but is this normal

what is your mpg trip saying? i get 35+ from my cup

That sounds a bit low, my 182 generally sits at about 32mpg for combined hard and easy driving....think £30 usually gets me about 160 or 170 miles maybe...

If I'm doin 60mph on the motorway it's readin 37mpg and around town 25/27mpg

seems a little low, but not overly low tbh!
it's said you should get ~40+ on a 60mph motorway trip, i get around the same in town tbh.
perhaps lambda on the way out?

Depends a little on where you buy fuel too.... £1.329 at home but have seen 1.389 etc for petrol

A full tank will nearly see me 400 miles (when I say full tank I mean about 40Litres) of mildly keen/long run cruise driving. Nailing its tits off a 30-32mpg figure is realistic.
I will be changing the front O2 sensor though just to try and eek the mpg up a bit lol

Been readin up about 02/lambda sensors and this might be the problem £65 for a Bosch from my local motor spares shop. Think I'll try it and see

it might be low but not enough to worry about and start replacing parts unless its something cheap like a service or thermostat

I'd go as far to say thats normal consumption.

Engine light now on so I'm at Renault tomoz for them to look at my steering wheel (might get some money off a new one) so will ask them to look wot the fault is.
