Sound Proof

A guy at work reckons I should get my 2 front doors sound proof..

He says he know someone else whos got a clio done and it makes a lot of difference....What do you reckon

I reckon the weight will just slow you down for little improvement in noise. Just turn up the music

Thats what I was thinking but the guy reckons it wont be much different..

sound proofing is quite heavy... come on they stripped everything out a CUP why would you want to add more weight? I run without a spare in my car to save that little bit more.

Actually It appears they left most, if not all the soundproofing in the Cup, especially in the floorpan, things like the plastic engine cover etc went though..

soundproofing the doors wont make too much of a difference. Its only when you start covering your whole car in the stuff.

ive just got 2 rolls of sound proofing to do my boot, and it isnt that heavy, each roll is about as heavy as 2 PC keyboards, at most !

oh an its £14 a roll at Maplins
