just wondering if anyone could clear my thoughts, i need 5mm spacers in order for a set of 172 alloys to fit nicely, will these do?

They're mass produced bits of steel which are 5mm wide... what's going to be expensive about that ?!

They sell these at halfords, they are pressed i think and not the best but you could try them at that money

its not about whether they are mass produced or hand made, its about the intended job they provide, surely they need to be of good quality if they're attached to my wheels, and ''good quality'' means more money im afraid...and trying them? how would i know whether they're not suitable? thanks

i mean just trying them for size, seeing if the wheels still catch. They will do the job fine and wont be dangerous, just dont go over 5mm with them

It's steel... it goes between the wheel and the hub.

If it's £5 or £500, it still spaces the wheel away by 5mm...
