Spark Plug Problem.. Part Missing?

  Sunshine Bus ph-quick
Hi,
My car started to run on three cylinders over the weekend so I've just removed the plugs to see whats going on. The plug that was in cylinder three has lost the tip and just pops the HT lead off as soon as you try to kick the car up.

I got some new sparks and went about fitting them but when I came to cylinder three it would appear that there is a part missing, bear with me whilst I try to explain this. Basically the hole where you fit the spark plugs into the cylinder should have a little "flange" so that the plug can screw in...but on cylinder three it's missing so the plug has nothing to locate to. This "flange" is there on the other cylinders. So now if you try to fit a spark plug it just spins.

Does anyone know if I can get one of these "flanges" so I can sort this out or is it more drastic than that? Also does anyone know what the real technical name for the "flange" is? lol

Thanks for any help
