Hi again!,
as far as i can tell from my service book, the ole' plugs havn't been changed in 36,000 miles! i know lots of you will say just go until they die, but wondered if it was worth a fresh set?
From what I've read here, there is no point in putting raving spark plugs in them, a standard set of NGK's or I think they do NGK platinum/triple spark which have been known to improve fuel efficiency - not performace.

no point whatsoever. I've put £12 plugs in 182s before with no detriment to performance, and none of this "ooooh clios have to use the oem plugs" Sparkplugs are very simple in their function, as long as you use the correct grade (and there's many types which fall within that remit) you're laughing. Use Platinum NGKs if you have a cat on the car, otherwise use NGK coppers
