SPEAKER QUESTION

i got a set of house speakers with 10" sub woofers in them doing nothing and i wanted to sell them but no one wants them, i was thinking if i took them out and fitted them into a custom made box to go in the boot of the car would they work ok???? they are 8 ohms impedance!!!! any help please????

if you can find an amp to drive 8ohms at a good rate then youd be ok. amps will output more power at lower impedances, but have to be stable down to a level.
