Anyone know the sizes of the speakers in a 172 cup? And can anyone recommend any speakers.

Just bought some Alpines SPX137As yesterday, 13cm, for 159 new. extremely good components normal price of around 250/300.. the cross overs are ridiculously big though!!!

omg where the hell did u pick those alpines up from? they are lethal, the three way versions of those retailed initially at over a k.Almost bought some myself, the crossovers are some very serious bit of kit aswell, very advanced crossover network.

Some nice sets of comps are polk momos normally a lot flying about at around £200 ish second hand retail for £500 new

what kinda music you listen to and how much you looking to spend is the key.
