speakers - - now what amp??

right, i am stupid so dont laugh;

i have these speakers in my car ;

my amp has stopped working again and i have decided to fob halfords off (yeah i know its my own fault for going to them in the first place!!) and just get a refund.

can you tell me what i should do, amp wise? ie what power figures mean as i get two different ones RMS and Max and dont know what the hell i am reading !!

any suggestions for amps, or links, or just basic knowledge will be greatly received!!

Always go on RMS values the max values are a load of toss.

How muh you wanting to spend on an amp also do you want new or would second hand be alright?

as long as it works!!!!!! had three amps in last couple of months!!

as long as second hand is in pertect cond.

not sure on price, cant be that much for a 4 channel one can it?

Good choice on speakers

A wee 4 channel amp should see you finish that off nicely. That way you can amp your components and still have the option of adding a sub to your setup

As said, go by RMS ratings

^^^no i got a very good deal, mate of mine used to work there back home so used his old club card or whatever you call it, and since i was spending quite a bit they threw in stuff.

would never deal with them again though, due to problems constantly.
