Speakers!

I am going to change my speakers in the rear and front of my clio 182 due to one of them being broke,

Does anyone have a anygood surggestions i am thinking edge or alpine.

i dont really mind about price probs about £50 a pair as long as quality is good, i seen some alpines in halfords, do you know a good site or shop?

Pioneer do a set of straight swap component speakers specially for the Clio, that's the 13cm ones in the doors and the two little tweeters in the dash. A few on here have done that I think. They should be an improvement on the standard set up and would be the easiest if you wanted to upgrade the tweeters whilst your at it.

re. getting co-axial ones, you won't notice that big a difference between sets if your not amping them. Might be wrong though.

I got some orion speakers from the local audio centre because they were cheap.

Surprised how much better they sound, best quality speakers i've put in any of my cars without an amp, including expensive ones :)

You could get better for the money mate, it would just mean you'd have to spend an hour or 2 fitting them - would be worth it in the end.

Are you planning on amping them? If running off the headunit these would probably be better suited, but if your planning on amping them at a later stage you could get a half decent set of comps that would sound 10x better.

oh right ok.lol. maybe get them for front as look good and get alpines for the back
