Specialist Car insurance on Clio 200

  RenaultSport 182
Hi All

I'm about to renew my Esure car insurance on my 2012 Clio 200. Due to the appreciating value of these N/A gems (I have a completely unmodified, very low mileage one with mint Recaros/RS speedlines and French racing blue paint) I'm concerned that in the unfortunate event of a RTC and insurance write off, or stolen, that the 'market value' the insurance company would provide would be far lower that the true market value we all know. The insurance company don't have a current market value on their system, only the value I have given them (approx.£10k) which they confirmed doesn't really mean much to any potential future payout. Question is, have others in this position got specialist car insurance where the company know the true/accurate value of these cars? If so, please advise which companies...

Thanks in advance

John

Phone companies and ask if they offer agreed valuation policies. No idea if it will be offered on a relatively recent car such as a Mk3 Clio however.

Hi Dan.
Thanks for the response. Ive actually already contacted Adrian flux and they’ve given me a decent quote. Cheers

Try Greenlight. Always found them super helpful and rarely beaten on price.

No idea about agreed values etc... but Sky Insurance (or whatever they call themselves now) quoted me literally half what Adrian Flux did for my 182, so it might be worth giving them a call too. The guy I spoke to was very into cars too, spent half the call just chatting about cars we'd owned and mods we'd done.
