I'm not a big gamer but would like it to run things like HL2. I do and will be doing alot of Matlab programing, CAD software etc etc. And I love my music and DVDs!

Looks good mate!

You can get 3GHz off that processor peice of piss without standard cooling (get arctic cooling freezer pro 7 for like 17 quid)

Personally I'd get 2gb of ram aswell

To be honest for your monitor choice and about an extra tenner, I'd get these!

You'll like them better than the 19" widescreens as you'll get extra height and if your having dual you won't really notice the loss of widescreen.

Failing that I'd go for a better set of widescreens, as in 22" but then your talking more money!
