LY 182
Right i had a problem with a coolant temp sensor on my 1.2 16v which i replaced, and tonight after work i plugged the scanner in to delete the code it left. On going in to engine management it came up with the following faults..
1 brake pedal A/B comparison (which cleared its self as soon as i took my foot of the brake and didnt seem to come back??)
2 coolant temp - obviously
3 and vehicle speed sensor fault
the one im concerned about is speed sensor.
intregued by this i checked for fault codes on chassis network - vehicle speed sensor.
further intregeued i checked fault codes for the electric steering system and it came up with vehicle speed sensor --- which made me wonder as there have been a few mornings ive started the car up and power steering has not worked and ive had to restart a few times to get it going.
so what do these systems take the vehicle speed from?
is it a seperate sensor or should i be looking at wheelspeed sensors?
