speed up windows

hey guys are there any programs that can speed up windows. atm ive been using tune up utilities. its a good program but it doesnt get rid of everything. what im looking for is something that tells me what proccess goes with what program so then i know what i need to be running. anything but another reformat will be good

Umm what's wrong with Task Manager?

And most speed up apps are cack, just install anything you don't want, disable apps on startup that you don't regularly use and then upgrade if you still want more speed.

17gb to be precise (most are games i dont play anymore)

Amen, last week i decided to find out why i had used all my HD space and found that Norton was using most of it!! Also, how many times can i be arsed to click the 'Update in 15 days' button for it to ask me again in 20 mins!




Although it has kept me safe for 2 years now and its not McAffee which i had more problems with than a nun in a brothel!
