How's it going lads I hope someone can point me in the right direction, I have a 03 phase 2 172 and the abs light was on for a good while and I reset it and it locked up and the light came back. That was fine so I ordered the sensor and before I changed the sensor the speedo just stopped a few days ago although it worked for ages while the light was on, so I changed the abs sensor anyway and the abs light didn't come back on. Every now and again I get a speed reading for a second or two, so my problem is what do I need to change. There is a sensor on top of the gearbox but no wire was ever connected to it and there is no connection hanging loose for it. I did notice a little bit of damage on the abs ring on the drive where I was changing the abs sensor but surely it wouldn't be an intermittent fault because of this? Any advice welcome thanks!
