DF026 & DF152 codes recorded

Hi all,

So, the last couple of months - I've had the SERV and ABS lights appearing and then going off. Usually it would come on when the brake pedal had been applied a fair bit - coming off a motorway and the like. If I switched off the car and restarted it, the lights would go for a while and come back.

Now, the lights are permanently on as soon as I start the car. The ESP light is on also and it cannot be enabled/disabled with the switch on the dash.

Aside from the lights, it drives fine - but suspicion points to either the front right ABS sensor (or hopefully not) - the wiring that goes to it. Potentially the ABS ring itself might be cracked or damaged also.

Just wanted to check the best process to investigate the above, without heading off on a wild goose chase. Anyone got a picture of the ABS sensor in situ so I know I'll be checking the right thing to begin with!

Cheers,
D.

DF026 is indeed a front right abs sensor.

You need a Bosch 0265006383 or equivalent.

DF152 is just a multiplex thing, usually a stored code from a low/disconnected battery state.

Nice one - thanks for that.

Seems that the Bosch ones are tricky (and pricey) to find. Are 3rd party alternatives OK, do you know?

I’ve had one of the Stark ones fitted on the rear of mine for 2.5 years now with no issues.

Link was a dead-end mate?
