speedo problems

on my brothers t reg 1.2 clio the speedo only works when engine is cold then once warmed up stops working any ideas wot it is??

The speedo tranducers on them are very weak, I would deffo try that 1st

his model, gets the reading from the gearbox iirc, so get that checked out.

Yup thats right, the transducer is the black reader in the diff casing. They do tend to let go. There pretty cheap also iirc.
