Split driveshaft boot 172.

Is there a way to replace just the boot as I've been told you can't?

Would you run a j&r driveshaft on track as they are only £50 brand new, or buy a second hand one and just fit that instead?

If second hand is the option, anybody got one for sale?

the 2 piece type shaft I'm assuming? Iv replaced mine before now. You just have to grind a bit off the engine block off is all. Same if you are to be using a j&r shaft

To be honest mate, I've not a clue about driveshafts lol. It's a 172 non cup.
I just know it's split and I want to fix it

it's this type boot you need. Not 100% weather its the correct dimensions on this listing though

Yes you can replace them, just remove the shaft and if you're lazy stick a stretch boot on it, otherwise pull the outer CV off and fit a normal one.
