Split fuel line

Hi,

Guys the fuel line under the car that i brought has split, guess they bottomed out was accident damaged when i brought it.

should i just add a section in, if so what size is the fuel line?

or

should i replace the whole line?

personally i would replace the complete line.

1. Because its fuel/fire hazard so would be a good idea to replace complete line so there are no 'joins' that could leak in the future.
2. If its a plastic section that's split, then replacing the section with a rubber hose section may not be good enough and by the time you've put a hose clip around the hose that's slotted over the pipe it may split internally due to the pressure from the clip.
