Hello All

im wondering what splitters are and if i have them on my car.
I have a 172 mk2.
Its just a question as a guy on ebay is selling some and he says in his ad "make your car look like a sport instead of standard"

so just a query really

standard on most looks a hell of a lot better, not keen on the CF ones.

meggy ones look quite good, look at Immi and Steves cars (Sgarbett and dutty_112 on here)

no you havent got one, the black bit at the base of my front bumper is a standard cup splitter;

matty only 172 cups came with the splitter as standard and since yours is a FF 172 it wouldnt be on unless someone before you put it on. not read the link yet lol hang on.

^^^ that is not a splitter for a sport mate, its for non RS clios to make them "look like a sport" not sure would even fit yours.

best bet is to look out for one for sale on here, or on the bay and should be around 70 quid.

Stands for Full Fat, has all the extras. Cup has the extras stipped out because it's more weight that can be saved.

looks good on clios lol

on things like super cars it makes the air go over the car rather than under it, so increasin downforce when at high speeds

makes the car more aero dynamic as well in some cases
