Hiya i fitted a janspeed sports cat around 2 months ago and now my mannagement light is on. would the sports cat of caused this? and how can i get this back off?

Yes,most likely, check the sensor..

mines on aswell for the same reason, just too lazy to look at it, wheres the sensor? on the inside i suppose?

well upto 2001 there was only one and this is on the front cat section (before the cat filter) and on the later modles there was two one before and one after. not sure how easy they are to get to though?

Relatively easy to get to if you have smally girly hands. If the cat is doing its job, you shouldn't really be getting an emissions warning as the sports cats still filter the exhaust gasses.

yeah thats what i thought to m8. passed an mot 3 days before light came on to.

Clean them up

only blow air through it.
the sensors go fact of owning a renault will be the pre cat sensor they are £90 new
