Spraying A pillars

Has anyone done it? I know some have covered them but I want to keep the textured OEM finish ideally. So if anyone has done it can you post a pic please?

No pics but done this in a couple of my previous cars. Don't forget plastic primer, it'll flake otherwise.

Covering them in alcantara is bloody nice though.

Yep, done mine, just gave them a light dusting with some satin black paint.

I've only just read this and completely forgot about plastic primer and used normal! Oh well if it flakes I'll just re do it. First coat of paint is on, satin black too.

You should be ok. Plastic primer comes into it's own with more flexible parts.

Fingers crossed! They're done now and fitted back on, and they look miles better! It is dark though!

I didn't even use primer when I done mine, they're still going strong a year later.

I'll get one tomorrow for you and post it here. I can't tell you how good the finish is as it's too dark to tell lol!

They've come out better than I thought, and satin is the best choice IMO. Gloss would reflect and look out if place and Matt would look crap.
