Spraying carpet

Does anyone know if its possible at all for me to spray my carpet say red?

I want red carpet, but fear its gonna cost way too much.

Has anyone done this? & more importantly, does it work & does it last?

Errrr.... I wouldnt have thought that would be a good idea!! Im sure new carpet wont be that much - if you strip the old one out then youll have a template for the new one, which you could just buy on a roll in a car parts shop (halfords etc?).

Thats how I would do it anyway!

red fabric dye would be a better idea cos spray will just make it go hard and feel sticky. either get some fabric dye or cut your own red one out of a big piece of carpet.

Wouldnt fancy buying carpet from a shop coz it doesnt exactly look easy to mould into shape!

Maybe you could try some lino, easy wipe!!

dont bother dying it, ud have to wash it into it, would be a bath effort, and ud end up staining the bath that way too. Best bet is to attempt to make ur own and use carpet spray to hold it to shape
