Spraying objects with chrome paint.

Does anyone know what effect u can get by using a chrome paint spray?

Does it look like chrome metal?.. or not quite?

Be good if someone has a picture of something they have sprayed chrome!

You can't get chrome paint , well not paint that is available to the general public anyway . Its more of a silver colour , plastikote make one but when you apply the sealer it goes grey . You might see adverts saying its " chrome " but you'll never get the finish of true chrome plating .

do a gloss black or white base coat first, then flat and polish the hell out of it before spraying the chrome stuff

nah, its never chrome, its just metallic silver, nothing like chrome tbh.

only way your getting chrome is by sanding and sanding finer and finer and finer and then using a metal polish.

but this rusts really really quickly and your gonna be polishing it weekly.

someone like house of kolor may do a chrome paint but im sure it costs a s**t load. but aint possible to get it in aerosols
