Spring Fitting How Much £££££

Ok guys how much should i be expecting to pay for fitting a set Eibach Pro springs? Anybody on here want the job for cash in hand in the nottingham area??

I paid £80 at a back street tyre place coz Kwik Fit didnt want my money, he did a good job, I knew I could trust him when I saw his modded Jap thingy!!

Around an hour to fit all 4 springs - tho this was somebody who knew what they were doing on 172s. Probably would have taken less if I hadnt had been getting in the way! Didnt even need spring compressors since the Eibachs are just short enough to compress with body weight.

So if somebody wants to charge you multiple-hours youre getting reamed!

i fitted my springs [to a valver] and i did it on my drive, took about two hours.. thats cuz im not mechanically minded -hardly at all- and loads of bolts , didnt want to play fair..

When i get my springs im gonna fit them myself.

National tyres did mine for £50 and this was with 2 siezed locking nuts did a mighty fine job too all in less than an hour

Use the Cliosport guide, I used it to fit springs to mine - dead easy, took me about an hour and half (and Im bone-idle).

The whole job cost me £17.99 for some spring compressors.
