Springs question?

i have read before and recently that if you put just springs on lower then 40mm it will smash the orginal shocker, is this right?

Nope. Should be fine on 40mm.

I'm on 40mm apex springs, nothings gone wrong yet!

does it look ok? or would you still want it to be lower?

Maybe the front a little lower...
