squeaky suspension

  DCi
Hi guys

My 182 has developed a strange squeak in the driver side front wheel, it seems to be suspension related as it starts squeaking as the road gets bumpy but it can also just come and go as it pleases, there doesnt seem to be any pattern to recreating the squeak, although you sometimes (not always) can make it go away by steering

it sounds like as you steer or go over bumps something moves into a different position that causes something to squeak, then the next bump or turn can knock it back to another position that stops the squeaking

I'm quite happy to get the car up on stands and have a look but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for (hopefully when i get it apart something will be obvious!!) but if not does anyone have any ideas what i should be checking over??

Thanks,
