One of the most underrated products out there, people b**ch about i dusting as the use it incorrectly. Buy it in 5 litre sizes and save some cash!

I would not read to much into how much protection it is giving from the beading, clean paint beads - I got rained on halfway through polishing a car at the weekend and the paint beaded just with after Menzerna polish which has no protection in it.

AG SRP should give 20-30 days worth of protection though.

Get a good wax Paul, if you over polish it it will be really rusty when you polish the paint off ;)

Jokes aside SRP is that mild you could probably use it every week for the cars life time, but if you polish it then use a good sealant and or wax you should not have to polish more than a every 3-6 months.

^^ thanks i know you always keep telling me ill have to look at getting a wax of sealant of some kind :)

I use SRP I love it.

I always put EGP on over it though, as it recommends it on the back.

SRP then EGP every 3 months for me, job done.

Whats a good product to use after SRP then? Don't use anything else and can't be arsed with EGP as i can't see it.

I take it you know egp is a sealer? Anyhoo if you are after protection you cannot go wrong imho with some collinite 476s. It's cheap, it leaves a wet shine and it's bomb proof against crap weather.
My gf's car will still bead after 4800 miles worth of winter driving.

Also props to Elite, a decent bunch, it's where I bought mine from.

That looks a good buy, so that would go on after the srp?

My method would be
Wash with AG shampoo, AG SRP, buff off, then apply that then buff off?

If i did decide to use the EGP would that go on last?

Oh I could just use the trigger off my Tyre black and put it on the EGP bottle to use it up.

So i'm just lacking some decent wax.

You could but then you still have to allow it to cure/dry before removal.

The Jeffs, you spray and buff it off straight away.

+1 for the SRP. I also really rate the SRP/EGP combo. Used to bring up the Mondial Blue paint of my Cup a treat!!!! Once i've IP and FF the 197 by PC, it'll be getting the Autoglym duo out once more :)
