SRP - or something else ?

  Skoda Fabia vRS
ive kind of lost my way with keeping my car in A1 condition, and with the current weather its been even harder

what would you suggest as a good all in one so that i dont have to do multiple coats, im using a PC and have lake country pads

need something at the moment with slightly more cut to it than SRP, or maybe more fillers

last time i was really into all this i remember a new clearkote product coming out, red something ??

Depends what the paint is like, if you have a PC you would be better off removing the swirls than covering them. I would recommend the Menzerna range, have worked excellently for me via PC even from my first attempt. Go to Clean Your Car for the range.

If you have SRP I would use this after the cutting polishes and then seal to protect your work. The AutoGlym Extreme Gloss Protection is a good place to start, although my personal favourite in terms of looks, durability and ease of use trade off is the Jeffs acrylic spray sealant, which Polished Bliss supply.

You can follow this up with a wax but not strictly necessary.

i have already got all the poorboys SSR's, im not short of cutting polishes

i was hoping for a one step product with more fillers/slightly more cut than SRP

in fact im a HUGE fan of poorboys stuff so ill have a look see what they do

If you have the Poorboys polishes then you should be able to get rid of the majority of swirls. You could look into a glaze however to further improve the situation, I use Chemical Guys EZ Glaze II and works a treat.

ive had that aswell mate, your not grasping my question lol

im LAZY, whats the best all in one product, i did the car last year and i dont have any major swirls etc anymore, just very light stuff which i want to gradually remove by getting back into more of a cleaning routine

I do get your question - I am saying it is easier IN THE LONG RUN to get rid of the swirls and seal the paint rather than using one of these all in one polishes/sealants/waxes every time you wash your car.

Decent sealant will make the car far easier to clean and a decent polish with a PC will improve the shine no end. If you seal the paint with something like EGP then this will provide at least 3 months protection. Topped off with a hard wax like Collinites then you will be sorted for about 6 - 8 months at least and can get away with a simple wash with QDs on most occassions depending on your preference and demands.

Looks pretty good, otherwise AG do their own which is a mixture of SRP and EGP.

For me though still easier and produces better results sealing and waxing then using a decent QD in between.

i KNOW this, ive had hundreds of pounds worth of different waxes/glazes/polish etc

i sold it all last year/early this year to make room in my shed, i had 4 large boxes worth of different things

i dont have the time lately to be doing 'the works' on my car, so that is why i wanted something all in one

ive found this, which i may use

Something like Menzerana Final Finish would be my choice, will restore gloss while correcting minor inperfections.
