Stalling

My 172 has become increasingly difficult to park ect because it stalls very easily. Any ideas? it has recently been serviced with correct plugs, magnecor leads, itg panel filter. It has also had lambda sensor.

yeah its getting near replacement, but i do allow for that when driving

Try cleaning the throttle body

was only done about 1k ago when cambelt done.

Although thats made me think, had ITG filter at same time. I have hears that these are quite over oiled when new so prehaps its clogged throttle body?

Is it stalling or just cutting out? If it's just cutting out, it could well be the crank sensor (TDC sensor).

Does it also cut out as you pull up to lights etc?

Whats best way to clean throttle body? carb cleaner and soft cloth?
