Standard H/U - Error

I have put my Std H/U back in my 182 and when I put in the security code it just beeps and the display says "ERROR"....

The manual says that if its the incorrect code then "CODE" will show and the display.

Whats the score or is it just the wrong code?

Means wrong code usually.

Are you pfressing and holding 6 to confirm the code?

Its something anal like that, errors regardless otherwise.

Mine has just done this also

I thing it is deffo the wrong code as now it takes like 8 mins for it to reset and allow you to re enter the code. The books says this time goes up every 2 mins every time you put the wrong code in lol....

Sorted it now ...... would you believe it. Just rang the dealer I originally got the car from and asked what code they had on the system and bingo it was different from the one in the book lol... A least I wont be driving to work in silence lol.
