Standard head unit problem.

Hi,

The head unit in my MK2 172 usually powers up when the ignition is switched on. Today it didn't come on, and I had to power it on manually. Also did not switch off when I turned ignition off. Is there a way to set it up so it comes on with ignition, or is there a fault with the unit?.

It should only come on when turned on with the button or when you start if you leve it on when you last ran the car it should come back on. Sounds like a wiring issue in the head unit though.
