Standard Stereo Help

Basically, I've changed all my standard components back to normal.
I've just put the standard stereo back in and I put the correct code in (I have it written down) and I press everything and it just beeps at me.
Wtf do i press? I can't find the manual either.

put key in ignition and turn it till you see the cd display light up. it should have four zeros on the display. using the dial on the steering column controls to select the 1st digit of the code then press the button on the top right of the steering column control.
this should then allow you to enter the next digit. once you've entered all the numbers press the top right button on steering column again and it should come on.
