Standard valver clutch rating

What bhp/torque can a new standard valver (1.8) clutch safely take do you reckon (and for how long)?

have you got a new clutch that you can see the markings on.there are some numbers on the clutch that tell you its size and how much torque it can handle.there on the outer part of the diaghram part of the clutch or stamped on the centre of the clutch plate.how long it lats is all up to how its driven really.if you cant see the numbers im sure some of the tuning boffins on here will know what the clutch can take.

will prob take upto say 160bhp or more mate. you can get an uprated 5 turbo clutch for like 60 quid from gsf to take up to 200bhp. cheap as chips and fits too.
