Standard Wheel Won't Come Off?!

Removed airbagm torx screw, upper cowling and lower cowling.

I am pulling but nothing is happening.

Please advise.

If I remember right, the only trouble I had was getting the damn airbag out because the retaining clips on the back were really stiff. But once I had the torx fastener out, it slid straight off. Had new one on in 5 mins.

It will not come up no matter how much I try.

It just won't pull off.

There's three master splines. In some freak error (and possible new record in incompetancy) in manufacture, it's not just been battered on the wrong splines has it?

Don't try and pull it straight off, ie directly in front of you. Rock it from top and bottom, ie pull from the bottom a little bit and do the same to the top. Will come off with ease.

yea tap it with the plam of your handsfrom the rear but mined the air bag wiring

Would tap it from the side is I were you not top to bottom most steering colums have pins that break in a crash and let the colum fold I remember a friend of mine bursting these trying get a steering wheel off.
