Afternoon CS,
I recently got hold of a Karcher steam cleaner and my car has been neglected a bit cleaning wise - I get 1 day off a week and the last thing I want to do is clean the thing. I was going to take out the front seats and give it a good clean underneath as well as get all the little hard to reach bits a good clean with some APC and a brush to get all the cornmeal out of the crevices (I work part time for Domino's and that cornmeal stuff gets everywhere!). I want to use the steamer to make life easier but I don't know what I can/can't point it at. Presumably anything electrical is out as is anywhere you don't want water sitting and rusting, but is everything else fair game? Carpets/seats/top of the dash etc?
I've got that horrible film on the inside of the windscreen too - I tried to clean it several times and I just end up spreading it around and making it worse. I've tried all sorts - APC, proper glass cleaner, nothing shifts it. Presumably steam will shift that too?
Cheers.
