Steering angle sensor advice

JJB

  Clio 182FF + Audi Q5
Hi All,
Hoping someone might be able to offer some advice on a steering angle sensor problem. I've suffered the 3 light issue and it's come up as a steering angle sensor fault. Had the codes cleared and sas reset but the lights come back on as soon as a descent amount of turn is applied to the wheel. I've reluctantly bought a new steering angle sensor from Renault at an extortionate £181.00. My query is, can I fit the new steering angle sensor? Three torx screws, doesn't look overly hard to do but is it plug and play or will it need to be plugged in and programmed to my car?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

as long as your cars wheels are in the dead ahead position and the yellow spot with the black dot is showing on the new angle sensor it's plug and play
