Steering wheel rubber decayed and split!

FECKING ARSEY Renault scum!

Phew, soz! Roll on my next car! Anyone elses rubber grips decayed and split at all? My right hand grip developed a small split, which has grown as the weather has got warmer and cooler. Looks awful :-(

And I KNOW i havent slit it with a watch or a ring or anything sharp.

Got till June till the warranty runs out, reckon Ill have any joy? Do they sell the rubber bits? looks like it can be ripped out and another glued in.. im thinking not, and a whole new wheel is needed.

Well my rubbers are ok, but the coating on the so called leather has decided it wants to start peeling today. I Just dont believe it. I thought it was real leather. My Fiesta Turbo steering wheel was ok with no probs for over 6 years & still going strong. This wheel is just cheap compared.

Yeah my steering wheel is pretty much f**ked after the leather going crappy.
