Steering wheel swap help

Hi all I have just fitted a 197 steering wheel on my 182 all connections swaped over fine air bag and cruse all seemed good went for a drive and abs light on plugged it in to my diagnostics and has come up with steering angle sensor issue and steering feels odd anyone had this before? one other thing on the back of the 197 air bag it has a connector for an earth but the 182 didn't could it be that is needs an earth to it there is no air bag light on though

Thanks pall have had a quick read I parked up took old wheel off and new one straight back in same place didn't remove or move the sensor and in live data on my diagnostics still getting 300 degree readings on full lock both ways so seems to be working
