Hi, my gf has a ph1 T plate clio 1.6 rxe.
Since she has had it, the stereo, the clock display above it in the dash, and the interior lights above your head(the little ball light and the one that comes on when you get in your car) all dont work.
The radio has some sort of power getting to it as the little orange on/off button light comes on when the lights are on, but it doesnt play etc. Ive taken it out and all the wires and connections seem to be there etc and it looks untouched and it is the origional stereo but theres just nothing.
Ive checked the bulbs above where your head is, in the little ball light and the other light next to it that comes on and goes off when you get in the car, the bulbs look fine and ive also changed them to new ones and they still dont work.
Lastly the clock display on the dash above the stereo doesnt come on/light up.
Im Wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong and if all these things could be linked to one fuse? Or if you know of any other problems that it could be?
She knew about the problems when she bought the car but she wasnt bothered as the car was so cheap and is just a run about for herself, but now months later with no music, and the fact she cant see a thing when she gets in the car when its dark is doing her head in
Im no good with electrics so i havnt a clue apart from it could be a fuse thats maybe linked to them all?
