got my car back today from having a new alarm fitted as the old one was v unreliable, was all fine until i tried to start the car later on, and the knobbers forgot to disconnect the old alarm so its still dimobilised, i paid £300 for this you think that they should get it right first time, taking it back tommorrow with a very disgruntled look on my face.

ive had so much trouble with this car but ive wrote bout it so much i wont go into it again as it derpresses me just need something to go my way

when i got there it was working fine bt now i realise that this is because the immobiliser hadnt kicked in so all seemed fine and dandy

You will find that garages just want to get your vehicle in and out as fast as possible, the mechanics/technicians do not seem to care whether the job is done right first time around, i am not sure if this attitude comes from pressure above or what.

You know you are up against it when a so called Renault Technician does not know where the OE alarm is wired on a 182, so you end up finding the wiring for him.

took it back their today and got themto get it out turns out i need to have the original renault immobiliser system unprogrammed to the ecu and going to be another 100 big ones, thats nearly 1200 ive put into this car and theres stuff that needs sorting.
