stolen without key?

  ph1 172
i sometimes have to park my 172 in dodgy areas...

am i right in thinking it would be pretty tricky to steal without the key?

  A4 DTM/iceberg cup
if they want it they will have it. my mates bmw x5 mysteriously dissapeared and was found up north a week later all locked up in a secure car park. police were useless as always and couldn't figure out how.

obvoiusly if sombody wants it they will put it on a trailer. i just wondered if it was "stealable" by the local scum.

Whats the standard fit alarm like?

  Never above 25mpg
Like anything electrical, it can be hacked electronically. Although I doubt people would spend £5k on a remote decoder for a Clio :p

Easy enough to do no need for a clip etc the simple answer is to get the keys though

not much you can do if they want the car though

  Clio mk1 rally :P
im sure u can do it with out the clip.... doesnt the clip just triger something in the ignition barrel?

there for remove the ignition barrel (or wire behind it)
and connect colour one to colour 2 and tada.... u have a car..
