stop light and handbrake light

already done a search for this and got one answer but not sure if its the same thing.

any time im driving quick round a bend (usually a left hand bend) the stop light and handbrake light come on, then straighten up again and they magically go off,

anyone got any ideas?

yeah brake fluid level is low top it up


and its low for a reason so check the pads

yup, as said above, brake fluid level low, so either pads are low and need changing soon, fluid leak, or just low fluid

was the brake fluid low, after looking for ages to find out where it was lol the manual showed it to be in a different place, going to go get some brake fluid today what one is it for the 172?

brake pads are low, which causes a low brake fluid level, you shouldn't need to top up the fluid, as it can't leak out anywhere, you're pads are on the way out
