Strange creaking sound whilst on full lock

Yet another one of those faults that appear then disappear.

While parked up stationary on a slight incline I got strange sensation through the steering wheel while turning the steering wheel from lock to lock, after a few times it started creaking on full lock to the right. Sounded just like a creaky clutch pedal/cable. Drove the car for about 2 minutes and everything was back to normal. Car doesn't feel any different handling wise either.

Any ideas what it could have been? Really strange how these things seem to pop up then disappear again.

Mine do it everytime i reverse around the yard in the morning to get my car out.

Had a feeling it might have something to do with the top mounts.
