Strange cutting out issue on a Punto

  182
Alrite guys anyone got any ideas,
My gf's punto often cuts out, but only when she is slowing rite down or stationary at traffic lights, rowndabouts etc
It never cuts out while driving, only when slowing down and stationary
Anyone know what could cause this?

A couple years ago we had issues with it starting every morning but that was a faulty battery and is fine starting up now

Cheers

Idle air circuit fault... get it serviced properly (By that I don't mean an oil and filter change). It'll need the IACV/Throttle body thoroughly cleaning out.

Assuming its on a MkII Punto it'll be obvious to find. Do not remove the TB from the car with the ignition on or switch on the ignition with the TB removed else you will need to re-align the CAN-Bus network for which you need a pretty decent level diagnostic kit (Same is true for all Fiat and Alfas... I fell for it by swapping a window switch pack on a 147 and it wasn't happy with me at all)
