Strange feeling!

  182cup/D40/Hornet
My 182 cup at full lock feels strange when I'm reversing then driving off the drive in the morning(only noticable at full lock),the kind of feeling you get when you've got a car when the tracking or camber is out if you know what I mean.Tyres don't seem to be showing any sign of uneven wear, just wondering if this is the norm?

I can imagine that if you keep it on full lock when standing still but this is moving,so I ain't manovering it when it's standing still.

So true the turning circle of the 182 is shocking and the V6 was way worse!

It's hard to describe but I get the same "feeling" when I reverse out of parking space.

yeah... i get that same exact feeling... reversing on full lock. Its like the wheels are facing slightly different angels and it sort of judders. The road has to be grippy though.. doesnt happen in the wet etc..

You also need to give it more power as there seems to be something holding the car back... weird !!

Like I say the only feeling I can relate it to is like the tracking/camber but if this was the case I would notice it when on the move(possibly just a bit paranoid);)

Im getting this strange feeling on my 172!

Right lock with a touch of power and it feels like the near side wheel is `skipping`. Also, when I apply a little power with the wheel a few degrees off centre from a standing start the car wants to pull to the right. Ok, these cars suffer from torque steer, but its way worse than it used to be when I got the car. Only thing of note is that Ive hit a couple of potholes a while back and the Michelin PE2s are nearing the end of their life.

Any ideas?

Cheers.
